Data Bank and Research


AEEDU is working on nationwide educational mapping of districts and cities, conducting baseline surveys, and also analyzing various developmental schemes and policies for the economic and educational development of underprivileged communities. In order to achieve these objectives, a data bank has been set up in Delhi. The Data Bank is a repository of information on various aspects of underprivileged communities for easy and quick retrieval whenever needed.

To achieve the programme goal regarding data bank and research, a 15 member research advisory committee has been constituted to supervise research activities. Duration of the committee would be three years from the date of its formation. The Research Advisory Committee shall consist of the following:

The advisory committee shall meet periodically and undertake the following activities:

  • To Identify research areas in the fields of education and economic development for marginalized groups in society, particularly Muslims
  • To review the research proposal and finalize the topic of research submitted to AEEDU by NGOs and partner institutions.
  • To develop an AEEDU data bank and data sharing platform on socio-economic indicators of marginalized communities
  • To identify sources of funding for the research activities of AEEDU
  • To advise the dissemination of research findings through various forums and platforms
  • To organize seminars, conferences, and discussions on research findings.
  • To undertake the publication of reports with regard to the activities of AEEDU.
