AEEDU Scholarship Program is an initiative to financially support meritorious students from secondary, higher, and technical education who belong to educationally backward districts and rural areas, including minority communities, differently baled, backward classes, dalits, and economically weaker sections (EWS) of society. Initially the program is available in certain localities and blocks.
The scholarship aims to help needy students and enable them to complete their school, undergraduate, and professional programmes in higher education. Under the aegis of this scholarship programme, the students studying in Classes 6 to 12 or undergraduate (including general and professional) degree programmes will be provided with financial support and academic mentorship to fulfill their dreams.
The financial assistance is only meant for students who take admission into any government-recognized public/private schools, colleges, and universities. AEEDU Scholarship Program is a not-for-profit initiative and is intended to help deserving students who face financial problems, complete their education.
Eligibility Criteria for school students
- An applicant must be studying in Classes 6 to 12 at a recognized educational institution in India.
- They must have scored at least 60% in the preceding class.
- The annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 4, 00,000 from all sources.
- Only Indian nationals are permitted.
- Preference will be given to those from educationally backward districts and rural areas, including minority communities, differently abled, backward classes, dalits, and economically weaker sections (EWS) of society.
Eligibility Criteria for undergraduate students
- An applicant must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree programme like B.Com, B. Sc, BBA, BA, diploma, polytechnic, etc. at a recognized institution in India.
- They must have scored at least 60% in the preceding class.
- The annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 4, 00,000 from all sources.
- Open to Indian nationals only.
- Preference will be given to those from educationally backward districts and rural areas, including minority communities, differently abled, backward classes, Dalits, and economically weaker sections (EWS) of society.
Eligibility Criteria for undergraduate professional programs
- An applicant must be enrolled in a professional undergraduate degree programme like engineering, medicine, law, etc. at a recognized institute in India.
- They must have scored at least 60% in the preceding class.
- The annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 4, 00,000 from all sources.
- Open to Indian nationals only.
- Preference will be given to those from educationally backward districts and rural areas, including minority communities, differently abled, backward classes, Dalits, and economically weaker sections (EWS) of society.
