Madarsa modernisation is essential as many currently offer only religious education due to limited funding and lack of technology, making them less competitive in today’s globalised, tech-driven education system. Marginalised Muslim communities, especially in areas lacking government schools, rely heavily on madarsas. Modernisation would provide quality education, enhance employment opportunities, and help integrate students into mainstream society while preserving their cultural identity.
AEEDU advocates for the modernisation of madarsas to promote a modern and secular educational outlook among students. It aims to support madarsas by helping them achieve alternative credentials through skill and competency boot camps. AEEDU will also enable students to earn micro-credentials and nano-degrees, improving their access to better job opportunities and empowering them to contribute equally to development and nation-building.
