Mainstreaming


This programme is envisaged to providing flexible opportunities to ensure mainstreaming of children from minority communities into formal schools and Madrasas.

Key components of the program are:

  1. Identification of children from minority communities and providing extra support to enroll and attend classes in school.
  2. Awareness generation among the parents and communities on how to support children’s continuous and effective mainstreaming into formal education.
  3. Developing learning tools and provide them to communities and community-based organizations, to undertake capacity development of communities and community-based organizations for the effective mainstreaming of children
  4. Capacity Building of Madarsa Teachers on curriculum and pedagogy
  5. Strengthening strategies for mainstreaming children receiving religious education into formal education
  6. Life Skills Education and Communication Skills Education
