RESEARCH ADVISORY COMMITTEE

The Committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of Prof. Amitabh Kundu, Retired Senior Prof. of Economics, JNU and the Chairman of Kundu Committee (Report). The RAC consists of eminent members such as Dr. Pronab Sen, First Chief Statistician of India as well as Former Secretary of the NSSO, Dr. Abusaleh Shariff, President, Centre for Research and Debates in Development Policy, New Delhi, Prof. Furqan Qamar, Former Secretary General, Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and Former Vice Chancellor. The Committee has the mandate to review and provide advice regarding AEEDU research activities impacting the objectives and to develop/study appropriate modules amongst NGOs dealing with improving the educational and livelihood requirements of students coming from marginalized segments of society.
