Skill development is essential as it empowers youth with vocational and technical training, enabling them to secure sustainable livelihoods and contribute to the vision of a ‘Skilled India’. It helps bridge the gap between the demand and supply of skilled manpower by building a robust framework for skill upgradation, introducing new skills, and fostering innovative thinking. This initiative aims to equip more youth and adults with relevant skills, including technical and vocational expertise, to enhance their employability, access to decent jobs, and entrepreneurial opportunities.
To support this mission, AEEDU is playing a proactive role by collaborating with the Government of India’s skill development programs. AEEDU is working to create synergies by facilitating training opportunities for underprivileged youth across India. Their Skill Development Initiative involves building a network of approved facilitators who can deliver skill training with the objective of improving employment and self-employment prospects. For example, AEEDU has partnered with Falcon Groups to provide skill training in areas such as computer programming and coding to school-going children, enabling them to apply for and benefit from skill development programs with AEEDU’s support.
